This is a plaque found a little to the east of the San Diego Convention center near the intersection of Park Blvd, and Harbor Dr. It bears the following text:

In November 1999, the San Diego Convention Center Corporation and Turner Construction celebrated the Convention Center's 10th Anniversary. They were joined by 5th graders from Logan and Perkins Elementary Schools.

This plaque marks the time capsule, buried here, that was created by the 5th grade students with assistance from Convention Center Staff. Contained within the capsule are objects and memorabilia representative of the year 1999.

Truly a nice article! Keep posting such great posts as they are very helpful for many people. Thinking about booking a convention center in Seattle for my upcoming events. I think booking a Seattle convention center won’t cost a lot!

IQ SmartCenter is an amazing San Diego Meeting Space. This premier downtown location features two state-of-the-art conference rooms that can be reserved and rented individually, or combined for larger groups.
